Mentorship Program
The Agile Community of Montreal offers a mentoring program to allow professionals interested in Agility to meet, help each other and develop the skills of the community together.
The program is intended for people who already have a certain professional experience in the field of Agility: Agility experts or neophytes, classic profiles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Coach, …) or more atypical profiles (HR, project managers, managers, …) as long as you have want to grow up, because beware of spoilers: it’s a win-win, the 2 partners learn just as much!
Unlike other mentoring programs, the connection here is mutual. Mentors and mentees choose each other according to their affinities, so show your colors!
Mentees take the lead! Of course, mentors can take the first step, but mentees are encouraged to choose and especially to take the initiative in meetings and follow-ups.
How does it work ?
1. Click on the button Join Mentor’Agile (request in french) below and fill out the Welcome form.
2. Subscribe to the #MentorAgile channel of the Agile Montreal Community’s Slack
3. Introduce yourself with a cool post that says who you are, your background, what you offer or seek, your availability, maybe even a little video to set the tone (do you want to be a mentor and mentee? Great? , one post for each and voila!)
4. Look at the profiles and, if you think there is a match, get in touch with the chosen person (in thread or in private).
5. If the match is reciprocal, agree privately on your mentoring agreement for 3 months (objective, time, place, frequency, …)
6. Complete the Mentoring Agreement.
7. After 3 months, do a little retro and give us some news!

Mentor’Agile Evening
What better way to meet than a “speed-meeting” evening?
In three hours, we offer you a space-time favorable to the meeting of professionals of Agility who are either:
– seeking advice, professional follow-up in the context of the mentee,
and / or
– eager to help another professional in their context, to acquire new skills in mentoring.
This format gives each participant the opportunity to present themselves with their challenges, their background, their personality as well, and thus train the best duos.
At the end of the evening, the mentors or mentees choose each other and complete their mentoring agreement.
Several evenings per year will be organized.
The next event will take place on February 25th 2025.
For any questions, please write to mentorat@agilemontreal.ca
Trello and Law 25
To comply with Law-25, we have cleaned personal data in the Mentor’Agile spaces and restricted access to our TRELLO to Mentor’Agile administrators and organizers.
For any request, we invite you to do it via our email mentorat@agilemontreal.ca
